Method: Put the lentils and water in a deep pan, boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a seperate pan and fry the onions till dark brown. Take off the heat and leave to stand for 15 minutes. Served hot or cold with salad or yogurt |
